  • A fast, honest offshore platform fully rebuilt and optimised for performance and reliability.
  • The hull was stripped, re-faired, and strengthened; the keel removed, ultrasounded, and re-bedded.
  • An extended carbon rig (+1.5 m), longer boom, and fixed bowsprit boost light-air punch and reaching balance.
  • Below deck, twin nav/autopilot systems, radar, AIS, and satcomms support routing and debriefs at race pace.
  • Deck gear, pit systems, and sail-handling hardware were all renewed for clean, repeatable evolutions under load.
  • Simple, robust systems — Yanmar 3YM30 shaft drive, 600 L ballast, folding prop — make Vixen both fast and forgiving.
