WHERE WE SAIL

Where we operate

We run coastal and offshore sailing and racing programmes across New Zealand and Australia. In New Zealand, we sail from Auckland and the Bay of Islands. In Australia, our programmes operate from Sydney, Hobart, the Gold Coast, and the Whitsundays.

If coastal or offshore sailing is on your radar, this is where you move from thinking about it to doing it.

How to get in touch

Use the form to tell us a bit about you, your experience, and what you are curious about. You do not need to have it all figured out. We will come back to you with a clear recommendation on the right programme, whether that is Regatta Racing, a Racing Academy, or an Offshore Sailing Academy. We welcome a range of experience levels, from those new to offshore through to more advanced sailors looking to build confidence and capability.

Additional Information

This is a hands-on, crew-based experience

The more you can share about where you are at and what you want to get out of it, the easier it is for us to guide you. Tell us what you have done so far, what you are aiming toward, and when you are available. From there, we will help map out a clear and realistic next step.

We keep crews small so everyone is involved

You will have a clear role on board, with guidance before, during, and after each session. We focus on practical learning, real time decision making, and building confidence through doing, not watching.

Once you confirm a programme, you will receive everything you need to prepare, including what to expect, arrival details, and a packing list.

Most people are deciding between three types of experience

Regatta Racing: For those who want to experience the pace and teamwork of competitive sailing. Offshore Sailing: For those looking to build confidence offshore, including navigation, watch systems, and longer passages. Coastal or Offshore Academy pathways: For those wanting a more structured progression and to build miles over time.

If you are unsure, we will guide you to the right starting point.

Travel planning is straightforward

We recommend arriving early and keeping travel plans flexible where possible. If your programme aligns with a race route or longer passage, we will guide you through logistics in advance.

Whether you are joining us in New Zealand or Australia, you will be training on the same Class 40 platform, with a consistent approach to coaching, safety, and crew experience.
